Files
Files and folders on your computer: read them, write them and work with paths as objects.
FileService reads, writes and lists files, a PathHandler is a path as an object, and a FileHandler is one open file with ranged reads, inserts and appends. Up next: FileFollower hands over a growing file line by line, PathWatcher says when a folder changes, and RecycleBinService adds a bin and scratch folders that clean up. shot check knows these already; they don't run yet.

FileServiceRead, write, list, copy, move and follow the files and folders on this computer, from any program.PathHandlerWork with a file or a folder as an object: join paths, list a folder, read and write files, open big ones, recycle instead of delete.FileHandlerOpen a file and work on part of it: read a range of bytes, insert at any point, append at the end.FollowWatch a file grow and get each new part as it arrives: a log, another program's output, anything that appends.RecycledItemThrow a file away and still get it back: a recycled file or folder you can restore, or delete for good.
Up and coming
shot check knows these classes today; programs run them once the native runtime lands.
