Folders and scripts

The shape of your project and the code in it: folders for each system, and ShotScript and plain Luau files that run as modules.

A project's root is a Folder named after the project, reached as root, or as script.Parent from a script at the top. A .shot file is a Script and a plain .luau file a Luau; both run as ModuleScripts, required by their path in the tree. Of these classes only Folder is made with Instance.new: scripts come from the project's tree. See projects.
