Data and time
Values as JSON, the time and timers, and the data a program keeps between runs.
JsonService turns a value into JSON text and back, TimeService gives the time now, waits and timers, and a Timer is one started timer. Up next: settings files, logs, class lookup, objects as text, Base64, compression and hashes, records with backups and values as Luau source. shot check knows these already; they don't run yet.
Runs today
JsonServiceTurn a table into JSON text and back, for settings files, web answers and anything another program reads.TimeServiceThe time now, waits, timers that fire once or keep repeating, and times written out as text.TimerA timer you started, kept in the tree so you can see it and stop it.
Up and coming
shot check knows these classes today; programs run them once the native runtime lands.
SettingsServiceOpen your program's settings, or any JSON file other programs share, as a store you read and write.SettingsStoreRemember settings and state between runs, without ever leaving half a file.LogServiceSee everything your program prints, and keep logs that never grow without end.LogFileA log of time-stamped lines that starts a fresh file when it gets big.ReflectionServiceLook up any class with its properties, methods and events, Roblox's too, so a tool can work on any object.SerializationServiceSave objects as text, load them back, and keep numbered versions.EncodingServiceBase64, compression and hashes on buffers, with Roblox's EncodingService names.RecordStoreKeep named records with numbered backups, so replacing one never loses the old one.RecordOne named record: its content folder, numbered backups, instance files and metadata.LuauServiceWrite any value as Luau source, sorted and escaped, so generated data modules diff cleanly.
