    Scripts

Code that runs your project. Luau in the Roblox style, and GLSL for your own shaders.

No script runs in Edit mode: InitScripts run when you press Play (F5) and in renders, and Stop puts back what they changed. A ToolScript runs once when you press Run, and what it does is kept. ModuleScripts hold shared code, and vertex and fragment shaders feed Shader instances.

GlslSourceWrite GLSL right in your project and see it drawn: your own geometry, your own surfaces and your own image effects.VertexShaderPlace every vertex yourself: a whole field of swaying grass comes from one short shader and no mesh at all.FragmentShaderColour every pixel of your shader your own way, then light it like the rest of the scene with one call.LuaSourceContainerEvery Luau script in Stroke grows from this one: modules, Play scripts, tools and reactive nodes all hold their source the same way.ModuleScriptWrite code once and use it everywhere: require a module from any script, starting with the animation helpers every project comes with.TypeScriptGet your classes' types without writing them twice: point your modules at a TypeScript and their types appear in it.InitScriptBring a scene to life when you press Play: move things every frame, make new instances, or drive a whole video from code.ToolScriptAutomate the chores: a script you run once with a button to build, rename or tidy things, and everything it does is kept.
