AOV

Pull extra pictures out of every render: a mask of one character, object IDs, depth, normals, albedo, emission or world position, lined up with your shot.

An AOV sits inside a DataModel. Each time that DataModel renders, the AOV draws its Pass from the same camera at the same size. Mask covers Target's parts in Color; Float turns Depth into real distances in studs, and Position is always float. Use it as a Track Matte, as an Image2D with a Stroke for outlines, or as a GL node's input, or export it with a render. Passes show parts only, not shaders, clouds or particles.
