What Stroke is
One tree holds your whole project: 3D scenes, their cameras, your pictures and meshes, and the videos that film them.
In development, not released yet.
You'll learnthe tree under Root, scenes and cameras, contents, videos, Sandboxes, Edit and Play.
One tree
Everything in a project lives under Root, and the Explorer shows it as one tree. Almost anything can go inside anything; where it has no job, it waits.
Scenes and cameras
A scene is a DataModel: a 3D world with its parts, lights, cameras, sun and sky. A project can hold as many as you like.
You know this asBlenderscene
A Camera draws the scene it sits in, with its own picture size and render settings.
Contents
Contents are the files a project uses: pictures (ImageContent), meshes (MeshContent), fonts, sound and video. Pictures, meshes and fonts are saved inside the project file; sound and video stay files on disk.
Videos
A CookVideo is a timeline made into a video. Its rows hold keys, clips and camera shots, and its picture is the finished frame, so any viewport can show it.
You know this asAfter Effectscomposition, but it films scenes
Edit and Play
Stroke opens in Edit, where no script runs: what you build, key and film is exactly what you see. F5 plays and runs the scripts; ShiftF5 stops and puts back everything they changed.
You know this asRoblox StudioPlay and Stop
A Sandbox is a home for scripts, with no match in After Effects or Blender: in Play its InitScripts run and change what is inside it, and Stop gives it all back.
